and yes there was sadness but also happiness among it. Definitely worth seeing.
Enchanted was lovely, I enjoyed the chipmunk alot and think it’s one I want to own.
I Am Legend was gripping, scary in places but interesting overall. Very moved by the part with his dog and felt the ending was appropriate if sad.
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street was mildly gory but did full justice to its demonic roots I felt. Didn’t detect any horrific singing, but it is a musical which might put some off. I really liked how the characters interacted/interwove in each others lives and the twists and turns of the plot. Great actors, gory and sad plot, don’t think I’ll go for owning it, but glad I saw it. ((Sadly I saw a tv show that really mimicked it before the movie so for me it was incredibly easy to follow & figure out but some others had some hard times with it.))
Alvin and the Chipmunks was better than I thought it would be. Plenty of funny moments, heartwarming in places but beyond that, not one I’d want to own. ((On an aside note, back when I burnt one of my cds, Justin Timberlake’s voice went all Alvin on me, and it was hilarious. Anyone else wants to try it-it’s worth it!))
Fred Claus was funny overall to me, they didn’t ruin all the great parts. Kevin Spacey did well with his “bad” dude part and the bit between Paul Giamatti & him was hilarious. Enjoyed fast talking Vince Vaughn but don’t know if I’d want to own it. Perhaps good to see around Christmas time though.
Beowulf was good, I enjoyed Ray Winstone very much. Honestly really wanted to see him naked, but they just tease you with it. I feel like we see women naked alot in films, but rarely with the guys. Grossly unfair. Especially in Ray Winstone’s case. Hey, he is wonderful to look at!
30 Days of Night was great, gory though. The plot kept me in suspense and I found Josh Hartnett’s character convincing and touching. Worth seeing.
Crank was awesome with Jason Stratham. Must see movie and must own.
Saw alot of movie series like the Terminator and Bourne. Both were great to me. I also saw Sicko, Bowling for Columbine, & Fahrenheit 9/11, found all of them interesting and disturbing. Worth seeing all of the above mentioned ones.
