take down the Christmas tree

I’ve decided that it is much too close to Christmas to worry about taking the tree down. I think I’ll just leave it up now!

Yes, I realize that it’s MAY. I realize that this should have been done months ago. Who has the time??? Between camps that I volunteer at and an apartment that just refuses to clean itself and WORK…UGH! WORK!

I’ve thought about it…I’ve even imagined what kind of effort it would take to actually take it down. That counts for something, right???

I’m embarrassed to have people over…not because of the mountains of dirty dishes in the sink, but the Christmas tree in the middle of the living room.

I’m thinking a Christmas in July party???
