mine is around 86. it is very high i think (i am 34). while otherwise quite fit (had a complete check up recently), i was never breathing properly all my life. I had a grossly deviated septum and my doc had to clear the way all through my sinuses (septoplasty and turbinate reduction). It’s been 2 months since the op and I am still learning to breathe properly and I catch myself holding my breath once too often.

This is high. I think for my age for an average person it should really be in-between 60 and 77.
Right now, my resting heart rate is 52, maybe lower.
I know it’s definitely in the 40’s when I sleep.
I don’t know… I can sort of control it.
I’m 14 years old, so I figure that’s rather good xP
In college, my heart rate was in the high 40’s, low 50’s. Right now, it’s in the 60’s. I would like to get it less than 60.
And my resting pulse rate is anywhere from about82-90 beats a minute and fluctuates a lot. I have had my heart checked for problems cause I also get out of breath easily and my heart is fine according to EKGs and a holter monitor and check ups, blood oxygen level, etc… I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, am Cardiophobic and have panic attacks and Generalized Anxiety Disorder which accounts for it being speedy. When I was younger it was usually in the high 50s when I was resting and it’s supposed to be higher when you’re a kid.
My goal is to learn biofeedback and meditation and get my resting pulse rate down into the 60s and keep it fairly stable (doesn’t go up or down more than or 2 beats a minute within a 1 second period… I have a very accurate heart rate monitor).
I am sitting around 70 bpm, and have gotten a bit out of shape…so, my goal is to get below 55 bpm and MAINTAIN it.
