The darkroom equipment has been dug out and is ready for collection. Coincidentally I start a photography/darkroom course next week in Brixon so things are really coming together.

The person has spoken! She has a complete darkroom equipment set buried in the back of her spare room, and has pledged to dig it out this week. She’s giving the whole lot to me because she no longer needs it in her world of digital SLR. This has been a lucky encounter inedeed! She’s gonna help me set it up, so once that is done, I’ll lay down a step-by-step. She has suggested that she might not remember how to use any of it, so I might go on a course, or I might check in with some less well-known faces who are still practicing in the photographic arts.
I think I ought to put on my list of things, “Use less Commas”. I write like a Victorian; terribly fragmented and elongated sentances, makes for uncomfortable reading.
A willing, knowledgeable face has been found amongst the myriad contacts. With a meeting set up we look forward to the future! Some luck also; she may have some spare equipment. If it still works I can have it, which is ace. Might not work though, a ceiling fell on it.
The first step would seem to be questions to all those I know, find out if anyone knows anything about making a little darkspace, about all the equipment needed, about costs. Someone who has done it all before.
Questions abound!
