buy land in the country

I’m not sure where this would be, and I should probably pay off my loans first. It’ll be either close to my family (Oregon/Washington), close to me (California), or in Alaska with Kelly. With a little stability (i.e. actually working for a few years), I will be able to figure out if this is a long- or short-term goal.

If I am ever going to build a straw bale house, I need the land first. It is time to start looking for a place here in Newton County, Arkansas.
