There is a part in the book where it was talkin about how we cannot create anything but only combine things to have a something. Anyone know where it is in the book? Thanks.

Girl From Mars shut up and let me go
It took me a few attempts as i kept getting “stuck” in the middle around the Hume/Descartes chapters but I loved it and am glad I made it through. Favourite chapter for me was Darwin.

DONE. I’m not sure I really got as much out of it as I could have, if I had paid more attention… but it was definitely interesting, and I can’t say I’ve ever read anything like it!

This book is taking FOREVER. About 70 pages left.

Should mean lots more time to read. I brought this book home with me and read a few pages the other day, but so many people have been calling to get in touch, and Christmas holiday craziness, and such, I haven’t had much time to put a big dent in it. It’s just getting interesting though!
It was amazing . It realy was . Mostly the parts about Froid and Marx and those newer ones . Actually it was a review , and enabled me to choose wich of them I like and I may want to read more about . But the story is not intresting itself . Assume it as a text book .

Unfortunately, with Rush stuff I didn’t have time to finish it before classes started… which was my goal. Dangit.

ughhh. Could be that I just have a sinus headache, but reading this one is a little bit rough. I didn’t realize it was a translation at first. The writing is just a big change from the last book I reread (Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, finished it this morning). But I will be strong, because I said I wanted to read this. And I do… but why does it have to be so… philosophical? ;) After two semesters of philosophy, I’ve more or less decided that it isn’t exactly my forte. I guess I’m deep in the rabbit fur. But you can still have wonder without analyzing the why. You can be in the fur and still have wonder! I insist.
If you haven’t read the beginning of Sophie’s World, you have no idea what I am talking about, and I’d imagine it sounds.. interesting.
Regardless. Am about thirty pages in. I will survive. :)
