How I did it: I went to his show in Buffalo with a friend. The audience was mostly under 18, which put us off quite a bit. We were standing near the back of the place for a lot of the openers (Kill Paradise was good dance music, and Brokencyde was good to dance dirty to). I danced with my friend and Jeffree came up to us and told us he liked our moves and that we were a cute couple. Nice guy, but all the hype seems silly now. Yes, he's gorgeous... Comes from inspiration. The freedom of feeling you could truly create something if you wished. The small, simple idea in your head that tells you you can, truly find it in yourself to shape part of the world like no one before you. Make something that no one has ever thought of, something that the future can only look back at, but never attempt.
To me, this is what Jeffree stands for. Among many, many other things of course. Bitch as he may prode himself in being, I can never understand what goes on behind the heavly makeuped eyes of that one person. How what he writes in his blogs, what he says, what people say about him. How it can all be so contradicting. I suppose there’s a both a part of him everyone can love and everyone can hate at the same time. Just like every other human alive. He’s just being himself. He’s just like the kid next to you in math you never spoke to. Just like the guy off the park bench. He’s so…regular. It’s astounding. So contradicting. What he ‘should’ be, and how, no matter what he does, no matter what he doesn’t, someone’s still going to find him the most fascinating, interesting, deep person who ever decided to really live.
There’s no reason to torture yourself about what you’re not, when you can be living the life you’ve always dreamt of with what you ARE.
