Kate L. got her invitation to join the Peace Corps
I bought a prescription from Wal-Mart in January because I was traveling, and found myself in a little po-dunk town that didn’t have many places to fill prescriptions. AND somebody else was driving, so it was a poor time to stand on principle.
It only cost me $4.65 so that’s all I’ve spent on Wal-Mart this year.

I mean seriously, if I don’t want to contribute to wal marts fat ass pockets, where the hell an I supposed to but toilet paper and laundry soap? Sure I can just steal toilet paper from work but what about the other stuff? Is it really better to go to Target? Or some grocery store? WHAT TO DO???

Normally I get all of my house stuff likt toilet paper and laundry soap at Wal Mart because it is just easier and less expensive but this week I went to Target instead. I know it is just about as bad I guess but I think it is the lesser of two evils.

i need to work harder on this on over the next few months. i believe that the wal mart in my town is trying to expand to a super wal mart AND open a second store in my town. i should not be supporting this shit.

still, i have not bought anything from wal mart. i have also decided that i am going to try my hardest to not have to go back to work there. :) i am going to try to get a job at a coffee shop or bookstore to hold me ove on my lay off times from my regular job. :)

i think it has been almost a month since the last time i have bought something from there. yay me, however, this goal may become harder to achieve if i go back to work there. i know, i know. no matter how much i dislike that place, i made really great money there. but anyway, for now, doing well on the not-shopping at wal mart.
