Lots of great sales right now! This makes it a good time to do next year’s decoration-type shopping, if you can stand to look at Christmas stuff still. (I can!)
I bought a bunch (all they had) of really cute, tiny, gingerbread house ornaments, lavishly decorated, from a clearance sale. They’re supposedly edible, but I’ll probably laquer them and make eating them an impossibility. I think they are much nicer as ornaments than as food. I’ll give them to the little girls in my life next Christmas. 90% off and so cute!
Also, I came across big chocolate ball ornamants, wrapped in aluminum foil, and each filled with 24 little chocolate “presents.” So nice! And also 90% off - I got them for about 50 cents each. Bought all they had, which was five of them. As long as they stay at a stable temp, they’ll look and taste good next Christmas - no laquer needed, har har.
