Great movie!
When I saw it as a child, I loved seeing all the children dance and sing.
As an adult, I could appreciate the religious and historical aspects.
It works for all ages. While it is set in specific time, the movie is timeless.

ABC Family.
The problem with watching movies at home is my family doesn’t realize how sacred this movie is to me.
Well, Katherine does. But the little ones, not so much.
So it sorta makes me sad.
Which sorta ruins the whole effect.
When Marlena died, I watched this movie.
When big stuff happens, I watch this movie.
Last night, I was so comforted by it, I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
Tonight, I just felt annoyed. Sam didn’t understand. Oh, well.
Someday.
(Though I really love seeing it on a big screen. Would love to do the sing-a-long at Hollywood Bowl one of these years!)

I love the music in the movie. It makes me happy and everytime i watch it i feel better, becuase i know that the hills are alive with the sound of music….Aaaaaaa
