I just checked the test dates for this test. They offer one Oct 23, another Dec 10. I think Dec 10 is probably more realistic in terms of being prepared. I have to systematically attack this and really study hard…In addition to my grad school classes. 8 months ago

I recently started reading the Praxis II prep book. It doesnt give you much to go on..basically you need to know everything that shows you know how to speak Spanish fluently and any cultural and historical tidbit related to spain and latin america. I feel lost as to how and where to start! But this past week I have been studying agressively. I am watching a novela for at least an hour or 2 per day. I met up with a language exchange friend, although we mostly spoke english together. Read over an old grammar book that helped me while learning spanish. I also went to a meet up group to watch a Mexican movie. I’m happy to be getting started on this and plan to just take the test in September and see how I do. If I fail at least I will have more insight as to what the test is like. 12 months ago

To become a spanish teacher, first I must pass the Spanish Praxis test. I need to prepare. I will take my study guide to read on my commute home. I will attend the Spanish book circle and conversation groups as well as look for language exchange friends. I will also continue to watch the novela M told me about. 12 months ago
