I haven’t really been doing this regularly. But incidentally, I did read a little D.H. Lawrence in class, and revisited Wallace Stevens a few days ago.
Now reading Hunter “Squatting Deer” Prescot IV’s essay at the end ot July August 2006 “Peotry” issue. Yes, the misspelling is intentional, it’s their “humor issue.”

I think I’ll read Frost this month. I think he’s underappreciated (because of that damn “Road Less Traveled” poem in all our yearbooks). I’ve also heard that he’s darker than generally believed—there’s one about a woman looking at her child’s grave through a window in her attic…
