I’ve taken a class here or there and really enjoyed it. I would love to find a good studio with a class for beginners in St Louis. I think it would be a great way to stay in shape, de-stress and meet other people with common interests. I just keep putting it off for one reason or another.

This has been on my list of things to do for years and last Summer I almost started until I met a girl. She was a nightmare and used to do Yoga regularly. I met her after one class on a Sunday afternoon and she was particularly cranky, almost as if she had just finished a contact sport she pushed and shoved through the London crowds spitting venom.
Until then I thought yoga would be a relaxing endeavour that would be good for the soul and stretch out those aching muscles and leave one feeling at ease and healthy. She put me off. Not just that day but the times she would laugh about how awful somebody was at her class and how they couldn’t achieve certain positions or their clothes were wrong or they were sweating too much. I really began to hate the idea of attending yoga classes.
I am not going to let her spoil this for me. This year I will find a class where people are cool and accepting of all levels and abilities.
