start a home business

Aside from the romantic notion of being your own boss, I love the idea of a home business because of the lifestyle opportunities. I want a job that works around me and my family not the other way around.
I’ve thought long and hard about possible business types, did some study and have experimented along the way. I finally have ‘the one’ the idea that has ticked all the boxes. Now the hard part, putting it all into action. I am currently working on the set up and I am aiming to be launched by the new year. My biggest concern is my motivation. It can be so hard to stay motivated some times!

I am exploring different dropshippers online to assist me with starting my own business. I’m probably going to have a website, but I would imagine most of my sales will be through Ebay until I learn a little more about the biz. I want to get out of Corporate America and start living an unconventional life! Hopefully this will steer me in the right direction. I’ve got a lot of research to do! Gotta get to the library! :)

It’s nice to have some extra income!!!

Too much mistrust and people who look at you like you are only talking to them to sell them something. Too much interference between personal and private life. I need lines that say “this is business” and “this is me” and with a home business those lines get blurred.

I wanted to learn about wine and so I started my own in home wine tasting business. I figured people get paid to do what they love all of the time and I like to drink wine- so I wil get paid for that! So now I get paid to drink wine and teach people about wine. Fabulous!
