See the Aurora Borealis in person

I love the word Aurora Borealis. I would like to see this amazing site. However – I know its seen only at night and in the winter months in Alaska (which means I could freeze not only my ass but my whole body in the process) its like -40 degrees there at night. Maybe a cruise to Canada I can see it out in the ocean without city lights not obstructing the view.

i’ve always wanted to visit alaska anyway. but going to see the northern lights, and catch an iditarod, cuddle up in a cabin, with a roaring fireplace, no television, no electicity, but hopefully hot running water, in the dead of winter…. ah, the possibilities.
