How I did it: SAVED, saved, SaVEd. I went back to live with my grandparents for a while and my number one goal while I was there was to get a car... My Grandpa was really helpful with this.. He made sure once I started getting paid, that I made payments to him every month, like I had a car payment. Once I got two thousand in an account he took me shopping around to look for my car.... My Kia Spectra. :) Lessons & tips: Shop around. A lot. I went through Enterprise car sales and they were way less pushy, and much more professional. I worked with a Lady who helped me get a car I needed, they dont work on commission so they care more about what you want. I went to one place that tried to sell me a car with a 400 dollar a month payment, when I walked in and told them I could only afford 200! Resources: Enterprise car sales. My grandparents,

I bought my car about 3 weeks ago and it is brilliant! I love the freedom that it gives me, i can go out when i like, where i like and i don’t have to rely on other people or public transport. It is a great feeling and i wouldn’t be without my car for anything.
