Protest about something

living in canada meand we live in a democracy, if you don’t like where we are going, protest!! Get involved god damit. A very wise activist once said, your invovlement in the world around you, activism, environmentalism dicates your democractic rights.

I don’t want to protest for the sake of it. But next time there is an issue that I feel strongly about I want to stand up and be counted. I don’t want to get the end of my days not having made a difference.

Making a difference doesn’t always come from big news worthy events. Joining a march, writing a letter, signing a petition can all help to make a difference. More importantly – so can smiling at someone who looks upset … or saying good morning to the person standing next to you at the bus stop.
