learn about and understand all major religions

I learned that Satanists don’t worship the Biblical Satan as I’d always thought, but they really just worship themselves. It seems like a really selfish, self centered religion nonetheless, but at least they aren’t out to harm people as I’d imagined…they don’t sacrifice babies or abuse animals or anything. Really much more normal than I had previously thought, but still nothing I’d want to be involved in.

But beliefnet.com is a huge help. I’ll visit it more often and go through the whole “faiths” section…

I’ve wanted to do this for a long time. Part of being open minded is knowledge. So yeah…I’ll probably start with Christian denominations and then move on to all religions and the denominations within them.
