we decided to learn how to cook our favorite Thai meal at home. mastered the satay marinade, and the peanut sauce, and the guy at the little Thai restaurant we love showed me the bag for that lovely purplish rice that tastes so wonderfully rich and nutty. I got that, and the Thai tea leaves, at the Thai market I know of in Berkeley. so very yum!!! now I just need to figure out the cucumber sald and the meal will be complete!

we had grilled chicken breast, steamed greenbeans, wild rice.
and Klondike bars for dessert :)
