Does anyone have an idea of where the best place to do it is, and about how much it costs? I can’t imagine I’ll be doing it anytime soon, what with being a poor student living nowhere near an ocean. But I’m just curious XD

My one top ‘thing to do before i die’ is be dropped into the ocean in a cage, amongst Great White Sharks, off the coast of South Africa/Austraila

I feel like I dodged a bullet. I was swimming off La Jolla cove with a buddy on Thursday, the day before the fatal great white shark attack in Solana Beach, which happened just 100 yards offshore. Just when I was starting to get over my childhood Jaws-inspired fears. Damn.
i cant wait to do this, i have a large number of goals i wish to acheive in my life, but this one is certainly in the top 5.
i have read what others have said about their experiences in this and i am green with enzy, well done to any/everybody that has done this.

whether this will conquer a fear of sharks, or enhance it.
I did this in South Africa too, at a place called Gansbaai. Went out the first time on a rainy, freezing cold hour, staring fixedly on the end of a yellow piece of rope with a float attached bobbing on the water for 4 & half hours. No sharks to be seen. Got offered a second chance to dive another day and it was totally awesome. It was a beautiful morning and we saw loads of sharks. Truly amazing to see a Great White up so close under the water. Get out there and do it…before it’s banned due to all the bad publicity associating shark baiting with shark attacks off the coast of SA. Surfers are particularly concerned.
Went to Cape Town, South Africa and did it while I was there. Just amazing to be so close. You stare out into the murky water and their big white snout, and rows of teeth, just fades into view.
