Endrina - crap rarely falls from clear skies
So, I have registered on Wikipedia. That’s the frist step, now I need to find a topic…
inayana is a new wikipedia user :D
How I did it: I chose one of the stubs on the topic that interested me. I noticed that on the English wikipedia the article is longer, so I just translated it to Polish :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: just opened an account and then translated an article. I felt great! I don't know why I took so long to get started. I think it's because I thought I was not an expert on anything, so I could not write about anything, but now I have discovered that translation is also something I can do! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Included a link to an evening's contributions so you can see the progression. Start small, like adding an extra external reference to a page Copy paste good wiki formatting to clean up broken links and weaker pages with similar content Defending the honor of something you care about... I help organize an annual conference. My little brother had started a wiki stub for it as part of a class project. Upon retur… Read how I did it…
How I did it: i added the word "the" in front of "Cold War" in a sentence on an article on deterrence.probably the smallest contribution i've made to anything! and that's why i love it.i've tried to make wikipedia pages but they've gotten deleted. :( but this satasifies me for some reason!)GOOD LUCKY EVERYONE Read how I did it…

Endrina - crap rarely falls from clear skies
I simply need to find a topic of interest which has little or no information, and add some of my knowledge on it. Luckily the Norwegian Wikipedia-site is much less updated than the English one, which should make my contribution easier.

I am currently sorting out my priorities as part of my give up apathy goal.
I’m not giving up on this goal, I’m just moving it to a separate ‘ Future goals ’ list to achieve in the future, but not to worry about right now when there are more important things I want to achieve. Having a more focused list of goals should benefit me as I can see the goals I should be making progress on right now.
I think wiki sites such as Wikipedia are a very important aspect of a digital society. While the site is not always correct, it is a great resource to begin study on something.
I would love to be able to share my knowledge and contribute to that. After all, that’s what it’s all about!

I have just set up an account!
I am debating whether to start a new article about the Humus toilet – Hundertwasser, or whether to write an article on something that has already been requested!
We shall see, soon!
NG is trying to get it together and organize her life
Ok. So I took a tour in Wikipedia pages in my native language, and I found, surprisingly, an article about the place were I work! It’s a kind of a landmarke in my city. It’s a very poor article though, needs serious work, both in Arabic and in it’s English version.
So I guess that would be a perfect start! And just in time for the Arabic Wikipedia day :)
But while I gather information for the article, I’ll have to spend sometime teaching myself how to use the editor in Wikipedia. It’s not very hard to use, but no easy either!
I’ll need some training.
Let’s start then!
:)

I would love to feel that I made some contribution in something as huge and global as Wikipedia.. this encyclopedia is literary the sum of all human knowledge. It would certainly make me feel good to know that I contributed in it. Even if this contribution is by proofing an article that already exists.
First step is defining what subjects I would like to work on.
I’ll surf wikipedia’s pages, and try to decide what subjects attract me the most.
I hope to start small and assist/edit current pages and eventually expand/create new pages in areas of expertise
Step 1 -
Make an account and find something pedantic to add!

Seriously, the way his mind works is simply astounding!!
He’s gonna make it big, I tell ye! :)
