How to be a pin-up model

 "I went to a calendar casting call, posed my lil' butt off, and got the job."
How I did it: Found a casting call on craigslist. Thought to myself, "Hey, I can do that". I looked up pin-up poses and looked through a lot of pics. I made it into a locally produced calendar, and then started getting more pin-up shoots from there! Now, I don't get paid often, but I am still a pin-up girl. :) Lessons & tips: Confidence is key to being a pin-up. Being a perfect weight or shape is not. Work on your poses and facial expressions to get "the look". Pin-up is about style and attitude. Don't be afraid to do it, just go for it. Resources: craigslist.org and modelmayhem.com |

Ive Always wanted to model… Never really had enough belief in myself too do it.. Now i have and i really wanna give it a go…

Ahahaha! I do not know how I am actually going to do this. I have a graceful, slender figure with beautiful curves, but I am flabby and still need to firm up a lot of places. I also lack confidence in myself. Guess working on my confidence should be in my list, too.

I love the old school pin-up style and i love tattoos and corsets and pencil skirts and i have dark hair and love red lipstick…anyway. i think it would be fun. i wouldn’t do it as a day job, lets put it that way. well unless it turned into that ;)

I’m super excited to work on this one. My family has a kind of pin up theme-y room and I’m puttin’ mine on the wall! Ha, some people might think thats weird, but, whatever.
My shoot isn’t scheduled yet, but I’ve been reviewing a a few different photographers in the area and their portfolios and such.

I’ve done a few shoots here and there, but the amount of money and time involved with modelling is a little much for me right now, what with having to work full-time to pay the rent! But I have my portfolio so hopefully it won’t be too difficult to pick up where I left off in a year or so.
