i have come to the following conclusions:

1. living off my savings was a smart move for some time, but i Really need to start working now.

2. I think I should temp rather than look for a permanent Job-job, because so many things are Up in the Air—like Grad school decisions, parents’ health, possibility of going to India for study…

3. I will have to deal with the ego nudge that temping can give.

So far I have gone to one temp agency this week, and took the tests. I realize that I know pitifully little re: Excel… should probably take a course.

i’d like to try this:
to work two part time jobs rather than 1 full time one.

one could be more serious, using my skills in teaching, education, marketing, sales…

the other could be like the bookstore job… something lower stress, less responsibility, and with greater scope for meeting interesting people…
