Something creative, funny and well-rated. I don’t mean a profile website, like MySpace or Piczo. Something a lot of people know about, like NewGrounds, FunnyJunk, Ebaumsworld, Ect. (:
I have pretty much done this…I have the site…been working on it for a lil’ over 3 years now in my spare time…I will launch it and it will be grand…just wait…
Votefortheworst.com is a stupid website and it should be shut down. They seriously need to get a life. I want to make a website bigger and better and show them how many Americans are fed up with their stupid comments.
For the girls that are around the age of 12 and 16, this website/blog is for you!!!! I give advice on daily life like brake ups, fights with your friends and many other things that happen with daily girl life!!!!
So if you have any questions or answers from other people on the site then don’t bother asking or answering!!!
Hello,
My name is Alicia Winchester….
I want to become a writer so I thought if I created a website it would help me out with accomplishing that…..
I write stories that people wouldn’t write or see….
I write stories about ghosts who kill people for certain reasons, people who go insane and kill people, and much more….
A lot of my work is dealing with death and/or killing…
I also write poetry as well which is about my life, death, love, and heart break….
I have also written a story about people in L.A. who die and also how the survivors lives turn out, an autobiography, and some more….
Which I plan to put on this website…
:-)
I’m trying to jumpstart a new concept in social networking (like Digg.com did, for example), but it’s not exactly taking off. Methinks it might be too complicated :-\ whowasthat.net
Still, interweb fame is definitely high on my list of life goals. I’ll get it right one of these days!
I’ve created a popular website, amren.com. (It’s not as popular now because I’ve left that job. It also looks even worse than it did when I was running it.) I was just beginning web design when I created the site, and it was terribly designed. But it got up to Alexa ranking 14,000 at one point—that was the three month average, not just a single day.
How do you do it? First, you choose something people are really passionate about. In my case, it was race realism. I presented news stories containing evidence for racial differences in intelligence and behavior. I also put in a lot of stories about black and Hispanic crime. People are very passionate about these issues.
Second, you update every day. This doesn’t have to be hard. All I did was use extracts from news stories. Anyone can go out and find a few news stories to post on their site every day.
Third, and this is the most important thing, you allow comments, you moderate them, and you display them prominently. The comments on your page can be the most attractive part of it: you capitalize on the wit and wisdom of everyone who comes to your site. But the comments won’t be attractive if you allow every loser to post whatever he wants. Read through every comment before it goes on the page, and delete one third of them, allowing only the best to appear. That will keep people coming back.
By the way, you don’t need fancy, expensive web design and graphics to create a popular website. There are loads of sites with beautiful designs that no one ever goes to.
I’ve got a few more tricks to teach you, too. If you’re interested, I can design your site for you for a low price. My design has gotten a lot better since I created amren.com. My email’s jobling2003@yahoo.com.
