read 200 books this year

To date, I’ve read 104 books, which means I’m a little behind on my goal. Well, I had to paint the dining room. I mean, really, it’s just bad. :-)

Oh, all right, I had other things I had to do, too. Like spend time with my son and other family and friends, and do some research (you don’t always finish books when you’re researching, you know), and write some songs or finish others…hey, I’m a busy gal. But still, 100+ books in a year is nothing to sneeze at, right?

Ok, to date I have read 71 books (completely read; many more I’ve skimmed through or read parts of, but those don’t count). I think I’m a little behind if I want to hit 200 by the end of the year, but not too much so. I’m in the middle of one right now (a Jennifer Crusie). So, I need less than 30 books read in the next five weeks to stay on target. I can do that!

& I have until the end of 2007.

The goal is definately attainable! Well, it was for me as long as I made time (atleast an hour) everyday. Helps me maintain my “dumb-it-down” at work and my real intellectual me LOL

My goal is to read 200 books by October 2007. The book I am currently reading is called South Beach by Aimee Freedmon, and I already have a list of books that I want to read. So hopefully I’ll be able to do this.

So I didn’t run out of books to read. Apparently, if you look hard enough you’ll find something to read after all. In my case, I didn’t have to look too far anyway. So how’s that? only 91 books and almost 7 months to read. This goal is achievable afterall.

I finished my 79th book the other day and thought about this goal. This goal is looking achievable as of now. I have a hiccup with this though. How can I read 200 books when I’ve ran out of books to read at 79?
