make a stock photo site

I did so much groundwork and then let it flounder and get over-run by other things. Sucky, huh?

Back end is ready. Some of L’s photos up there for her to start entering. Needs to send me additional cd’s with keywords so I can help enter. Mom is working on logo…I hope. Been creating mail-out database. Working on incorporation papers. John’s ready to start putting together front end. Once I have something up, can begin courting other photographers. Once we have beta site up, can begin courting clients to purchase images.

then, database for first mail-out. that’s going to be a pain. but worthwhile if done properly. if anyone is interested in submitting their photography for sale, let me know. First focus is travel-oriented images, but others will be marketed too.

Admin area is almost working. Uploading photos. Will need to enter all the pertinent information. Mom needs to start designing or I’m going to have a very ugly site and I’ll be so embarrassed ‘cuz you know all my advertising friends will be critiquing it.

Super photographer is working on contributing photos, building porfolio…and trying to make this a substantial part of my income.
