How I did it: I came across Zondervan's The Bible in 90 Days in a bookstore and went to the website when I got home to see what kind of tools they had. I really wanted to read through it in that amount of time so I could get a sense of the Bible as a whole rather than in the scraps or the book by book sense that I had from past readings. On the website I printed out a bookmark reading schedule and used that to guide me in how much to read each time and to check off each portion read. Unfortunately I found myself lacking in the discipline to do it in 90 days but I still feel the impact of a straight through read in 2 years. And actually I was often amazed at the timing for when I read certain parts. I've started through again - hoping to add to my understanding and be more disciplined as I go, always seeking His face.
