In this unstable economy I think the best thing anyone could do (if they can afford to) is “pay off the mortgage. That way no matter what happens, “your family has a place to live”. If there was any way possible I would pay off everything! (Our mortgage, my car, the motorcycles, and my husband’s, and my credit cards)
For now we are doing what we can to eliminate our debt.
1. We are working on paying off as much as possible, as quickly as possible.
2. We expect to have both of our credit cards paid off by the end of 2009.
