To begin – I won a band scholarship to the University of Illinois a few years ago, basically a summer program, and I took a class on conducting. I learned all the time signatures. Now I really need to work on techniques and things of the sort. I need help finding someone in the St. Louis area that would be willing to work with me! That should be a challenge. Wish me luck!

I’ve been asked to take an SATB choir, doing Benjamin Britten’s Rejoice In The Lamb, and an a cappella group with my choice of repertoire. I was all calm and collected, and said sounds great, blah blah blah. So I better learn to conduct asap!
