I have a lot of files. Pictures especially and it is hard to find what I want just by looking. So I need to organize and make new folders and delete what I don’t want.
How I did it: This is really ongoing.
I moved files into folders i.e. My Pictures and from there into sub-folders. I found naming files something easy to remember made them easy to find. The same goes for the sub-folders and which files would go where.
Make sure it will be a place you will remember.
I take one day a month and go through what I want to keep and what can go. I also back-up onto disks.
Lessons & tips: I suggest saving documents directly to a pre-labeled folder and
avoiding the DESKTOP ZOO that naturally occurs in regular saving and
downloading.

I have so many things I want to do on my computer. I will have to make a list of what to do when I get ready for this project.
