meowzilla says give me no candy and i'll tell you no lies
carrying my camera everywhere, even when going to get a sandwich downstairs at lunch, has led me to see things differently: the intersecting street, one of the many which i walk blindly past at least 3 times a day, at 12.30 this time of year, after a brief shower, with the sun shining between the buildings, is beautiful and worth capturing.

xturnitup is trying/going to be the person i want to be :) -- just watch me.
This seems like a very nice idea. I love taking photogaphs. So now anywhere I go I shall take it with me. =) Expecially when I go on vacation. Before I never did, but I should of!

so today i wrapped my camera in string, tied it to a sunction cup, and sunctioned it to my windshield and filmed me and my friend driving around.
also now that i’m a yearbook photographer i have it out all day at school + at a lot of afterschool activities, so i say i’m doing pretty well at this.

The worst camera is the one you leave at home. It doesn’t matter if it’s a beautiful piece of kit, if you don’t have it with you, it’s useless. Although I love my DSLR, I very rarely take it with me when I do everyday things, like going to work. I have tried to make an effort and take it with me more often lately but the improvement has only been marginal.
I could take my Olympus compact camera with me as a substitute but as I said before I am generally disappointed with the results and it has a few quirks that make it annoying to use.
So I decided to take the bull by the horns and bought myself a new toy this week: a Leica D-Lux 3. Although it is classed as a compact camera and is light and small enough to fit in my jacket’s breast pocket, it packs up some impressive features that you would normally expect from a good DSLR. It allows complete control over all the parameters of the shot and the only times so far that I have been reminded it was a compact was when taking pictures at an ISO setting higher than 400, when the image comes out with a lot of noise.
I now have no excuse anymore not too achieve this goal. Between my DSLR and this new toy, I should really be able to take a camera with me everywhere and take good pictures.

i take my camera with me whenever i hang out with my friends, but i’m going to start taking it with me everywhere: the store, school, relative’s, even if i just go to get the mail. you never know when something interesting’s going to be around, so always be ready.

This is one of the golden lomo rules (don’t take the rules to strictly) and it comes naturally. Put your camera (in my case Lomo LCA) in your bag, always close at hand, ready to make shots.

i even went out yesterday and forgot my camera! me and my friend were at this beautiful green field at the park, and the sun was setting, everything was glowing…and i REALLY was angry that i forgot it!
i think i’ll keep it in my purse 24/7 now, and see how that works out!

I lent my brother my brand new birthday-present camera to take to Peru with him for 6 weeks, but then he’s going to take it to his boarding high school in the states, and I’m going to continue to be in Madrid for another year… So, I need a new camera before I can reactivate this goal.
