..last Thursday. Went to meet Muz at Kino, KLCC for a discussion. It was absolutely brilliant, walking around the bookstore without the usual throngs of people. Almost heavenly.

We talked about work and she shared with me many useful info related to work. She even offered to be my coach which got me elated. We’re gonna plan how this will work out soon.

In the afternoon, I met with Rini for drinks. That didn’t happen coz we went singing at karaoke instead! I sang Dido’s Here With Me, twice! I didn’t sound half bad at all. :)

I felt great after that day off. I was calmer and more focused. My to-do list remained but I felt like I tapped into some reserve energy. I was able to get things done in half the time and half the stress! ;)

..I’m eyeball deep in work. Madly catching up with performance appraisals. Really need some sleep but not until I finish this one last evaluation. In the mean time, B52’s sing Roam. I can almost see the groovy dance moves.. :p

I just spent the past hour watching videos of the MCR gig in KL. The one I attended but couldn’t see much of Gerard and gang. Thank God for technology and people who pay more expensive tickets and got a decent shot at the whole thing. God bless you all! :p

A person needs time away to do things they like in order to relax and be a better person in general.
I am going to plan a monthly scrapbooking date with one of my friends and a monthly breakfast date with another. I also think I’ll make time to take my daughter to the movies more often. I want to make time to read & have quiet time in the morning. I want to watch a chick flick after the kids are in bed once in awhile w/o feeling guilty about unfinished chores. I want to go to the library and work on genealogy and I want to work on my writing. Some of these things fall under other goals, so I can feel like I’m multi-tasking!

It’s Eid, the day we celebrate d end of d fasting month. This means countless trips to visit grandparents, aunts and uncles as well as cousins, near and far.

I have no restrain when it comes to food, but d flu makes everything taste bland. We’re on d way to my paternal grandparents home. D traffic was horrendous. For a small town, they overdid it with d traffic lights. It’s crazy..

No time for self-indulgence. I’d be grateful if i cud survive d next 48 hrs with sanity intact.
