Finally did it

We raised praying mantis eggs this season and it was a lot of fun for both me and the kids. Kind of a pain in the rear some days since you have to be diligent about getting them food and water very regularly, but totally worth it. We started with about 300 of them, let all but 12 go, and quickly ended up with 2 (it’s very Darwinian as they’ll eat each other even when there’s plenty of fruitflies around :)), and raised those in separate cages for about a month before letting them both go back into nature. Great experience!
