How I did it: I could not connect to my apartment's free wi-fi and even after bringing to their attention I decided I wanted something reliable for school and just so I have some kind of connectivity to the real world.
Lessons & tips: I would suggest shopping for cheap internet and never pay activiation fees.

My apartment complex offers free wi-fi, but what is the point in that? Here I am struggling the first few days to get a signal strength, but I was still able to stream videos. The last few days I have not even been able to log into my yahoo mail!!!!! This wifi sucks I need internet service FAST!
