i want to do Hand bags

i would like to know how to make handbags, anyone got any ideas

I love hand-crafted things, especially handbags and jewelery. I ‘d like to make a handbag but I am clueless. Where to start from? Do you know any good online resources? Any recommendations for sewing machines?

I have created sereval handbags—some from patterns and some from scratch. It can be time consuming, which is the problem that I run into, but if you get organized and dedicate a little time every day (if you don’t alrady have a full time job)it can become a very lucrative business!!!

I made it a year ago.
It is a basic denim tote with pink silk lining.
I made it from a pattern I got from walmart.

Been sewing for years mainly handbags from baby bags to small medium and big bags have made alot of extra money doing it though the net and though people of other people my best clients are teenagers doing prom time is when I made more money. Good luck to all.

I made a tote bag. Just one. But it’s a start. Anyone got a sewing machine I could use?

The tote bag is my lastest project. It’s actually looking pretty good. I need to sew on the ribbon and handles. I’m also going to try lining it and maybe go crazy and add a zipper!

I have so much free time now, since I graduated school. I’m also saving on gas; a major plus.

Uf, do those “sewing for dummies” books work?

Simple yet chic. A long rectangular pocketlike space to hold my knitting needles. Of course it was an unsystematic process; I’m a novice seamstress. I will learn. I swear.
