.... I love this movie! It’s a great intro to quantum physics and very thought-provoking. I highly recommend “Waking Life” to anyone who watched this and liked it; it’s more artistic with the visuals and philosophical, but in a different way.

SwirlyAnge is happy
This was soooo amazing – I’m so happy I finally got around to doing this! This movie sums up so many of my beliefs about life and really inspired me to keep trying to do better for myself. I love seeing things like this – they inspire me so much and make me feel alive :)
so it was this film my mom really wanted me to see – it sort of grappled with intro to quantum physics and the realm of reality/consciousness/religion. All around, a good provoker, especially if this is new to you. It made me want to read more books about quantum physics, which is more than I can say of most documentaries!
I do recommend checking it out…. if nothing else but for the snot-like animated “atoms” who fire around our brains and apparently play in a fabulous classic rock cover-band (and make us do stuff). The addictions section was a good reminder, and who doesn’t love the “we are one” idea. It also brings up wave-particle theory, and I wish I could explain that further… need to get a book, I ‘spose.
... the only reason this is on my list is b/c my mom gave me the DVD and I just know I’ll forget about it…
unless it’s a goal.
So I own it. Now to watch!
cannedpurple is rediscovering 43 things!
This movie has changed my life – I view my reality in a whole new way. I also recommend the book – it has even more mind-blowing information!
i don’t think anyone but a physicist can really grasp what quantum mechanics might mean philosophically. supposedly the water experiment is a real thing….i dunno. i’m a scientist and i haven’t seen it in a peer-reviewed journal. maybe i’ll look and make sure though. the guy has written several books on it though, of which i’ve read just a little.
