work for doctors without borders

I’m in school now taking my nursing prerequisites. One of the main reasons I want to be a nurse is to help make a difference. I feel like working for Doctors Without Borders would really put myself where I’m needed. I’ve done some research and see that there is a pretty competitive application process. I need to have 2 years experience as a nurse, experience working over seas, and learn a second language. I’ve gotten the French Rosetta Stone… hopefully I can learn to speak the language atleast conversationally that way.

This is my life-dream. I doubt that I’m going to be able to do it, but hope is a powerful thing!

This will continue within my new general goal about future plans.

Until after I retire. I need to keep building up my TIAA-CREF account for now. MsansF does gladly take retirees though – found that out at an info session last spring.

Been to Liberia/Sudan and a few other places with them.
Definitely worth it, a good experience, I grew more then than ever before.
