You know, these days it is hard to find clothes that fit right. Well I just finished making a skirt for myself last night and it was so much fun making it! I love learning new things and I learned a lot making this skirt. The great thing is that when I got it finished I realized that it was way to big in the waist but it fit me in the hips, so I took the waist band of (which was a bummer because that was the hardest part) and I made some darts in the back that took the waist line in a bit and viola It fit! How much fun! I bought some more material and I am going to make another one this week with a nice dark stretchy denim. This one is a stretchy khaki (don’t you like the dark layer on the bottom? I designed that myself by adding another 5 inches to the pattern, another challenge but I finally figured it out:)
