I’ve used Darwi Roc modelling paste. I spent 2h30 working on it. Now it has to dry for 24h and then I’ll try to sand it and make some adjustment.
I have an idea for a head, and I’ll probably try to make arms as well.
I’m feeling rather chuffed. It was difficult and more tiring that I’d thought (I need to wear my corset next time. Ouch!) but the result is closer to what I had in mind than I thought I’d be able to achieve.
My fingers are already aching for some more. :) 21 months ago

I’ve worked on a sketch to define a bit what I’d like to mold, what body shape, etc…
I’m quite happy with it. Now turning it into 3D is going to be a whole other thing! o_O 22 months ago

I can’t stop looking at the creations of Marina Bychkova. Her sense of aesthetics take my breath away.
I realized I would love to learn the art of porcelain doll making. It seems like a very difficult and long-term goal but why not? I’m going to try and study it anyway.
First, I am going to buy some clay and try to mold a human form, to see if this makes any sense at all.
I molded a naked woman figure when I was 12 maybe, it was not bad. My mother still has it. Maybe I can do something satisfying?
Anyway, it feels like it could be a relaxing hobby. 22 months ago
