get a pilots license

I live in San Francisco Bay Area. Does anyone know how much it would cost? I should have done that when I was in Canada, it’s much more affordable to do it there.

I want a pilot’s license, so I can fly home, I’m so sick of driving there

I want to have a private pilots license, but not yet.

I am 17 years old and wanted to be a pilot years back. Now that that dream has gone away I still want to get my private pilot’s license. I know its gonna cost alot but that is one of my long term goals.

My cousin’s an airline pilot, and he took me up in a Cessna last week. It was amazing! He let me fly the thing too! I can definitely see the appeal. After we landed I was walking round with a stupid grin on my face. Best of all, as soon as we parked up, my cousin received a call from flyBE offering him a start date for a job! Brilliant or what? I don’t think I could make a career out of it, but I think I’ve been inspired to go flying again…

I learned to fly a plane before I learned to drive a car. I was 15 years old when I started and was only 2 hours away from my solo license when school commitments forced me to take a break from lessons. Unfortunately I never resumed them, and I would really love to pick it back up again. My soon to be step father is a pilot who is working on his instrument rating, so hopefully he can help me get back into the swing of things!

I enjoy flying. Up there, it’s like being able to breathe.

i’m looking forward to it right after i graduate from uni…probably ge ta private license first n then maybe top it up for a commercial license! oh, then my life long dream will come true!
