I’m spending some time in India which really helps. Here the vegetarian food is easy to get and it’s delicious (although I find Paneer extremely boring).

How I did it: i started slowly, which i think is the key. first, i cut out red meat, and once i was comfortable with that new diet, i cut out white meat. i still eat fish, which really classifies me as an ovo/lacto pescetarian, but generalizing my state as "vegetarian" helps in public. How I did it: About a year ago, I decided to eliminate one meat group from my diet at a time. Poultry was the toughest, but alas, 6 months later, I am bird-free. :o) Read how I did it…

My sister was a vegetarian for almost 15 years before I did the same. My inspiration was my then-boyfriend who was an ethical vegetarian, something I’d never heard of. He wasn’t pushy, and it wasn’t until I’d read some of his Herbivore magazines that I thought it was a good idea. It’s been almost three years now, and I feel good, but I still miss pepperoni pizza.

I can finally say I am a Vegetarian. One year no meat. I never really liked meat , and maybe thats what makes it so essy for me. But onestly my biggest encouragement for this vegetarian diet would the animal. Almost all of us grew up eating meat, wearing leather and going to circuses and zoos. We ate jack in the box burgers, and kept beautiful birds in cages. We never considered the Impact of these actions on the animals involved. People often ask if animals should have rights, and I simply think the answer is yes.And human health is in risk. The leading killers in America can be stopped simply by starting a vegetarian diet. Some of the diseases that are reducing in a vegetarian diet are Cancer, Obesity, and Strokes. Vegetable proteins can help keep our hearts healthy, eating animal proteins can put us in an early grave. I can say that one step close to a healthy life. New years resolution go Vegan.
