I already recycle like a mad woman and now I am buying fruit and veggies without taking a plastic bag. Oh, I hope I can have a renassance wedding. I know I misspelled it but I cannot spellcheck in the throws of updating my 43 things list. 4 years ago

We have moved beyond just using green grocery bags into real recycling in the house
The whole family is involved, and my husband is toting our recyclables to the appropriate places for us (grumbling all the way). Good for us! 4 years ago

i recycle like crazy and walk more than i drive and even ride my bike to some of my jobs, but when I can let the car go completely, THEN I’ll be officially green. I hate driving anyway so buying a hybrid isn’t an option 4 years ago

okay those home made cleaning supplies don’t bode well when your city’s water supply sucks. no worries, i am on my way to the store to stock up on Seven Generation cleaning stuff.
Some stuff worked:
The bathtub is sparkling with just the baking soda
The oven was sparkling with baking soda and sea salt
My hardwood floors were cleaned with tea oil and omg how smell goody
I use alcohol to clean my eyeglasses
I wish I could vinegar to clean more things like the windows and mirrors but the smell is gawd awful. 4 years ago

I am currently reading Green Goes With Everything: Simple Steps To A Healthier Life And A Cleaner Planet.
I hope this book helps because as of right now, I have exchanged bathroom cleaners for baking soda and I recycle everything I can. What else can I do? 4 years ago

I recycle, I donate clothes to charity, I walk or bike instead of drive, I have stopped using plastic bags…how much more green do I need to be? I want to grow my own fruit and veggies and give up driving altogether. 4 years ago

I think this is very important. I tend to be very wasteful, often forgetting to turn off the light or recycling. The environment needs our help and everyone needs to take personal resposibility 5 years ago

So my first baby-steps to a greener life:
Unplugging my ipod charger when not in use
Unplugged my tv and vcr as I hardly ever use them
Future steps to a greener life:
Getting the dog a little greener with a partially homemade diet
Buying more environmentally friendly products
Buying rechargeable batteries
Buying CFL lightbulbs

Libs and I have converted to paper bags and have purchased reusable grocery bags. We have also made a trip to the recycling center and picked up literature on the local curbside recycling program. Baby steps – but feeling good about it. 5 years ago

I am already the queen of compost but I really need to return to what is true about myself and part of that is caring about my environment and walking the walk. To start my daughter and I are working on a recycling plan. We haven’t implemented it quite yet. Second I am going to make or buy reuseable shopping bags. Go Green! 6 years ago
