get to work on time every day

This is impossible (for me) and entirely overrated. Bye bye goal!

An hour late, yes. But entirely forgivable as I had no computer until noon. So in a way, I was three hours early.

Nevermind that I was up and getting dressed at 6am. Nevermind that I was out the door before 7am. Nevermind that I didn’t stop for coffee. Or gas. Nope. Just go and have a big ole accident and muck up FOUR FREAKING LANES of the highway that only has four freaking lanes why don’tcha, ya big ole big rig with all your big ole big riggyness. Gah. So much for good intentions – they clearly mean nothing in the land of Jackknifes.

At least I know the driver was okay – he was just standing there on the side of the road scratching his fuzzy dome and staring at the mess.

Seven fifty freaking two am! Yessssssss! Of course, this is entirely thanks to W’s nosebleed which had me up at dark o’clock this morning worrying and fussing. But oh sweet yay! for getting here before 8am…and not a single Suit in sight to witness my timely triumph! Hmmmmmm…just realized this means I can leave at 4:52pm today! Oh sweet YAy OF THE YAY!

This is just sad. It’s Veterans’ Day even and there wasn’t much traffic on the road! I could have left fifteen minutes earlier and been here on time! Gah… this is just getting pathetic now.

It just keeps getting closer and closer!

Gah. So close. And on five hour’s sleep! Grumble grumble. Maybe tomorrow…

Gah. Close, but no cigar! It takes me an hour to drive to work in the morning…and I just need to get out the door ten minutes earlier. Monday Monday!
