because actually being pretty isn’t enough. girls have to go out on all kinds of limbs now that guys don’t need to lie to them to have sex with them, don’t they…

even though im not sure he meant it, i think he did in his heart, and for that, it changed my thoughts about him.

he called me beautiful last weekend while it was just me and him watching 24. me sleeping over at his apartment. i had no make-up on and he just admitted to thinking ‘kim riot’ from myspace was pretty. i yelled at him and said mean things. he took my face in his hands and told me to listen to him. he told me that i was beautiful and that’s all that mattered to him.

it was great. but that bastard broke my heart.

I just saw this on someone’s list. Last summer my best guy friend was trying to cheer me up and was making all these compliments lol. He made it sound like he really meant it. It kept me happy for a while though, because I liked him.

i want them to actually mean it.
