How I did it: Fkew into Auckland, then flew to Christchurch to start on the South Island. Wasn't sure what to do once there so ended up siging up with the Kiwi Experience to get round. very enjoyable (quite a young crowd though). Stayed in Kaikoura, Nelson, Westport, Franz josef, Wanaka, Queenstown, Dunedin, Invercargill, Te Anau, Wellington, Taupo, Rotorua and stopped off at many more places on the way. .
