Yes. worth doing. No further comment needed; buuba said exactly what I would’ve _
buuba summertime.
Harry Potter 6 is actually one of my favourite Harry Potter books. Although I dislike the 7th, this book is really intriguing, and you wish to stay awake all night just in order to finish it.
And one advice: if English isn’t your mother-tongue, but you still understand it, read it in English, and not a translation, no matter how good it might be. Original is always better, and furthermore with Harry Potter, ‘cause J.K.R. has a nice way to depict all sorts of situations.
gothelin is starting to get stuff done again.
I’m a bit sad actually as its clearly the end of an era. I’m fairly certain that the Snape thing was all part of Dumbledore’s plan. Snape was too careful to make sure he killed Dumbledore and he ensured that noone harmed Harry. Not to mention that all of the comments he made in the final confrontation they had were clearly designed as warnings, not threats.
It was also pretty clear who the Half-Blood Prince was almost from the beginning. The description of the writing in the potions book was all you really needed to read in order to know to whom it had belonged. Rowling has always given very specific descriptions of the styles of handwriting people in her books use. I tend to find that if a writer is careful to point out small details like that, its because they are important, so I pay attention to those kinds of things.
I definitely enjoyed it just as much as the fifth book and the ending has made me keen to read the last book. I do hope that Harry and Ginny work out in the end. I’ll read the final book if only to discover what’s going to happen with them. Its obvious that Ron and Hermione will finally get together, which will be good after a six year build up. I do wonder whether the Dursleys will have a larger part to play in the final book.
