I found it was one of my highlights of the summer along with earthdance in cali. Trillian green Kan’nal, brian froud tonnes of faerie folk. Yes there were lots of vendors and I thought it was great everyone needs to make money even the human/fae hybrids. I Performed with MythMaker www.mythmaker.ca and we all had a great time. We are booked again for this year along with Kan’nal and many others and I am stoked as I feel “our kind” are really appreciated there and the organizers Emilio and kelly put alot of work and there life into this!!! Props to them.

Went to Faerieworlds.... but was disappointed.

So – I went to Faerieworlds Festival this year, and I have to admit that I was disappointed. The focus was so much on the vendors that it just seemed to be a pretty hollow experience. On the upside I got to meet Brian Froud and talk with him for a few minutes and I was very grateful for that experience, but overall the entire festival made me feel sad; I’ve been studying faerie folklore as a hobby so I was expecting more focus on the faeries and not so much on things to buy.
