I wanna go purple.. or the same color as I had before but it was very temp color.. bled on to my shirt all the time. But it was a nice color.

How I did it: One of my girlfriends came over and dyed my hair with grocery store hair dye. I don't know which was funner, a new hair color, or spending an afternoon with a friend. How I did it: You make a 'mudpack' out of the henna, with lemon juice. Let that sit in a bowl overnight to develop the color, then mix in the indigo. I also add ginger, to make it smell better. My hair is so red it’s almost purple. I love it! The most frustrating part of the whole process was getting an appointment with my hairdresser. If they are any good, you have to schedule months in advance. But it’s done now and my hair is redredred with a touch of red.

I just recently got the urge to color my hair and I’ve been getting tips from the pros and someone like my sister who’s done red, midnight-blue, blond and even orange in one incident…but she’s now back to black. I guess it will help me feel better in my transitions in life and also its a major change to my initial urge to go bald first!

So I am on a budget and have to resort to coloring my own hair which usually turns out ok. This time was not so good. It definitely is not the worst coloring job I have done. I went to Sally’s and bought some color for dark hair, cause I am a natural brunette, but this actually lightened my roots. Well that is where I usually start cause the grey hairs needs some work. Well now I have light roots and dark hair. I am going to wait a while as to keep my hair from falling out and then go to good ole Wal-Mart and buy some more color and try this again.
