learn breton

I’m going to Uni next year and I’m going to learn Brezhoneg ^_ I’m really interested in all the Brythonic languages and I already know a bit of Cornish and I speak Welsh fluently. I wish more Welsh people would take an interest in these languages, but most of the time it’s difficult to get them to take an interest in their own

have been studying brezhoneg on and off for about a year and a half… this week i had a break-through. spent many hours studying over the weekend and then this week listened to a song in breton that i have heard many times before, BUT THIS TIME… i understood more than half of the lyrics!
slowly but steadily making progress :)

This is a minority language in France, more like Welsh than any Romance language. It’s the language of an amazing culture and people that hardly anyone outside of France knows about (and not that many inside France as it happens). I can’t wait to have the chance to learn in properly.

I want to learn Brezhoneg - the Breton language - spoken in Brittany, the Celtic region of northwestern France.
