We are moving, so one part of this has been done now. I have dealt with all the old floppy discs I could find, and put them all to go to Freegeek except for four that have still valuable info on them. Feels good to be done with this part of it.

Thanks to a friend, parts that needed installing in the working computers are done and work now. And the laptop that didn’t pick up the wireless network now does,too. This is progress, and I owe him big time.
I keep meaning to do this and keep forgetting. I need to get them all in one place, out to the car, and over to the Freegeek place downtown. Maybe if I put it here I will finally remember.

Found a very worthy charity that recycles old computers sending them to developing countries where they can make a big difference to health care, education and charities.
So much extra room in the closet… also known as the Silicon Graveyard. Had to pay to have someone dispose of them responsibly, but it was worth it.
My closet is like the graveyard of useless computers. I need to take them to the non-profit that uses the parts to send computers to overseas classrooms…
